To help new buyers understand how to source stainless steel tableware from China, we share a real-life inquiry exchange. This conversation will address common questions about materials, pricing, minimum order quantity, quality, customization, shipping and more.
Qingzhan are exported all over the world and different industries with quality first. Our belief is to provide our customers with more and better high value-added products. Let's create a better future together.
Garbo Flatware: Sure! We offer 304 (18/10), 430 (18/0), 410 (13/0), and 201 (18/ 2) stainless steels, each with different characteristics:
304 (18/10) Stainless Steel - best quality, highly resistant to rust and corrosion, mirror polished, used in high end markets.
201 (18/2) Stainless Steel - very good quality, second only to 304 for corrosion resistance, but contains magnesium, which does not pass international food grade testing.
430 (18/0) Stainless Steel - Mid-range quality, affordable and durable for restaurants and hotels.
410 (13/0) Stainless Steel - Hard and strong, great for knives, but slightly less corrosion resistant.
The price ranking is: 304 high, 201 medium, 430 low and 410 lowest. So in terms of value for money and quality, we mainly recommend 430.
Garbo Flatware:
Mirror polished - shiny and smooth. Most dinnerware has a mirror polished finish. It's just a different grade.
There are many grades of mirror polish, the higher the grade, the more polishing and machines, the more production processes, the better the quality and the higher the price.
Matte Polished - Brushed, modern, fingerprint resistant. Ideal for casual and contemporary table settings.
Tumbled/water polished - polished by water rinsing and machine vibration friction, this polish is the worst quality and the cheapest!
We can send you samples to confirm the quality before confirming your order.

Some suppliers talk well but disappear when problems come. Others quietly solve issues before you even ask. Which kind do you want?
A reliable supplier delivers on time, communicates honestly, maintains consistent product quality, and stays transparent—even when things go wrong.
From my own experience, reliability is not just about who answers your first. It’s about consistency. I’ve seen suppliers quote fast, but deliver late. I’ve also seen clients who kept changing suppliers—thinking the “cheapest” one was the best—and ended up paying for it later in delays, returns, and even angry customers.
So how do you test reliability?

Why? Not because we never had problems—but because we always solved them fast and honestly.
Choosing a reliable partner means fewer headaches later. And in the long run, it’s more profitable.
